It’s odd to think of a store to be the hub of a community. Yet that’s something that game stores around the world are starting to embrace, sacrificing shelf space for the opportunity to let patrons play the games they’ve spent money on. You’re just as likely to see a board game cafe packed with players sipping coffee and rolling dice as a store crowded with an overly broad selection of products.

The Wicked Goblin in Cairns is no exception to this trend, and tabletop gaming hobby magazine The Golden D6 granted me the opportunity to wax lyrical about why my feet take me there at least once a week on their web log!
