Starting anything new is tough. I’ve struggled with it more than a few times, and developing a sideline is certainly no exception.
One lesson I’ve learned from trying things out is: Start Small. (I’ve even recorded a YouTube video to that effect.)
But even though starting small seems simple, sometimes it needs more than a small amount of explanation, especially when it comes to adjusting your life to include your Day Job and a side-hustle.
Thankfully, another thing I’m learning is how to discuss what I’ve done and what I’ve learned from it in a way that will catch folks’ interest. I reckon I’m doing a good job of it.
Why? Because my friend and uber-freelancer Kelly Gurnett of Cordelia Calls It Quits reckons my words are not just worth spreading, but will also help one of the web sites she edits, Career Attraction (a site dedicated to helping people get control of their working lives), look good.
And so, ladies and gentlemen, I’m proud to announce that the next step in my trek toward a freelance writing sideline is a guest post on Career Attraction:
Want to Create a Side Hustle? Start Small
Please note that I’ve disabled comments on this page; if you’d like to shoot me a Huzzah! or discuss what I’ve written in that article, can you do so on its Career Attraction page comments thread, please?
